Teaching a Baby to Read - Is it Possible For Babies to Read?

89
If you have heard about the new thing with babies, then you probably think it is too good to be true.
However, you might be curious about teaching a baby to read and whether it is possible or not.
There are many babies that can read and many that pick up on words before they even have lived a full year.
It seems amazing, but here are some of the things that you should know.
First, when it comes to trying to teach your baby to read you have to understand that it is all about them.
You cannot shove the words down their throats.
You have to let them choose when they play reading games and when they don't.
If they are not showing any interest, then do something else and try again later.
After a while they will love your reading times and they will want to do it more often.
Second, when you are teaching a baby to read you have to use very large letters because babies do not see as well as they will when they are a little older.
This helps them to see the letters and the words much easier and it will be easier for them to find the reading games you use for teaching a baby to read more fun.
This will help them to want to read more often as well.
Last, if you teach your baby to read at a young age you are going to set them up for an easier time early on in life.
You will also be helping them to develop a much longer attention span as well.
Plus they will be more interested in reading and they will learn more because they will love picking up a book to read instead of sitting in front of cartoons and other television shows.
