North States Superyard Play Yard Child Safety
The North States Superyard Play Yard, is one of the best baby safety products I have purchased.
I didn't really know what to expect.
In the past, when my children out grew their pack n play, that was it.
If I needed to keep them safe, for five minutes I would put them in the crib.
For some reason, my fourth child did not like his crib for napping.
When I put him in the crib, he associated it with bed time, and he would try climbing out.
I finally broke down and bought the North States Superyard Play Yard.
It already came assembled.
I just had to pull it apart.
Very easy and very sturdy construction.
This play yard is twenty six inches high.
It was tall enough, so my son could not climb out.
Even when he tried to climb out, and he had all his weight on one panel, the play yard didn't tip over or move.
That was my main concern.
I was so scared it would tip over, but it was all good.
I was very happy with the North States Superyard Play yard.
The one thing, that didn't even cross my mind at the time, was OK I have hard wood floors.
What was I thinking? I was only thinking safety, not comfort.
I used a comforter, until I started looking for alternatives.
The whole comforter thing was getting old.
Every time my son spit up or peed through his diaper, I had to wash it.
I started doing my homework again and I discovered, Interlocking foam mats.
The Interlocking foam mats were an awesome idea.
Not only are they super kid friendly, with all the vibrant colors, but they also pass all the safety standards.
What I mean is they are non toxic, and there is no harsh smell that needs to wear off, after opening.
You can use these mats for anything, but once again I'm using them mostly for safety.
They are soft enough, so if your child falls and hits his head, yes it will hurt but hard wood floors or ceramic tiles will hurt more.
I recommend these foam mats for the North States Superyard Play Yard, playroom flooring, workout mats, garage flooring etc.
This is a pretty cheap alternative, and wipes clean easily.
The interlocking foam mats, are also water resistant.
They are perfect for basements, or anywhere that moisture builds up.
Last but not least, the North States Superyard play yard is available in rainbow colors, or a light grey.
It comes in two different sizes.
Six panel or eight panel.
If you want it even bigger, you can buy extra panels.
You can even block off a room.
I decided to buy the eight panel, rainbow North States Superyard Play Yard.
I thought my son would love the colors, and he did.
I then purchased one pack of the Rainbow Interlocking Foam Wonder Mats.
One package is thirty six square feet.
The eight panel North States Superyard play yard is thirty four.
This was a perfect match.
