Gary: I found through a parent resource book. The academy is a full feature program offers everything extend hours, play yard, pool, guest services education and academics care vacation care. It is very reasonably priced and the director works with you on a plan if needed. The guest visitors are extra and you need to supply the kids with many things.
Child Care Review Pros and Cons
Pros:The program is wonderful it helps children and parents. It has a wonderful staff and a great curriculum. The director helped me many times when I had trouble with my child in terms of eating, toilet training and general behavior issues. She helped me get through a rough divorce and made certain my child was protected at all times. The staff could not be sweeter or more attentive. As my infant started I was really nervous about cleanliness and I was greatly surprised at how clean she was kept. The baby was happy and clean and always came home with all her belongings. That was a big issue for me at the first day care I tried.
Cons:I wish they were opened during the week of the Christmas break. But I plan ahead and get other coverage with relatives.

Comments: My preschoolers (I have twins) love the place and cannot wait to get out of the car in the morning. They have learned quite a lot and I am impressed that they really deal with them as individuals as they are very different.
One is quite active and they are extremely good at handling her and the other is more subdued. They work with both of them and in fact helped when one of them needed evaluation and then short term speech therapy. The director walked me through the whole process as I was quite upset at first, and made me realize I was doing the best thing for my child. I cannot tell you how happy I am with my decision. The twins were at another facility first and no one even cared to point out anything about their development. I left that place because I did not like some of the answers I got and my little active one spent time in a high chair quite a lot. Very opposite at Oakdale-- they really know how to handle children well and are wonderful with my all my kids.
Features: I love this school and think it is truly a gem. It is the rare place that offers it all and this school does. It has the hours you need, the love your kids need, the gentle guiding hands to help active minds, spirits and bodies. I think it is clean and safe and offers each family the support and education and encouragement they need to be the best parents they can.
