How to Use a Microwave Bottle Sterilizer
Things You'll Need
Instructions
1Wash all parts of the bottle sterilizer with warm soapy water and rinse before each use.
2
Add water to the base of the microwave bottle sterilizer. The amount varies slightly depending on the brand, but most require about 200ml. Put the bottle rack in the base.
3
Load the bottles, nipples and other parts into the sterilizer and then place the lid over the base and lock it into place. Place it in the microwave.
4
Microwave on high for the correct amount of time based on the size of your microwave, usually from 2 to 6 minutes. Let it cool in the microwave for 2 minutes after it stops.
5
Remove the lid carefully. Make sure that it is pointed away from you to let the steam escape. The bottles and accessories can be removed now, but they may still be hot so remove them with care. Empty any left over water from the base.
