I hate giving this brew less than three stars but I simply didn't enjoy it. I really expected to but it just didn't come through with the flavor.


It barely had a head when I poured it. It also had no aroma to speak of. It was the typical straw color of the standard Pilsner. The flavor was weak, sweet and a bit grainy. There was only a dab of bitterness at the end. Overall it was very disappointing.

Despite this poor first impression, I will likely try to stop in at the brewery if I ever find myself in that part of the world. I imagine that quite a bit of this beer was lost as the bottle made its way from Czech to me in Missouri. The history of the brewery and the process that they say they use on their website should produce a pretty decent beer.
