One of the biggest problems with morning sickness is that what works for one person does not always work for another.
Yet there do seem to be some tips and useful bits of advice which if taken, on the whole tend to have a profound affect on solving the issue of pregnancy morning sickness, or at least making it much more bearable.
Here are 5 tips that will help most women cope much more effectively with the problem.
Tip 1 Stay away from spicy foods and other foods that tend to have a strong reaction in the stomach.
Included in this list can be foods like garlic and even onions.
You have to learn to read your body and have a good idea of what is not good for it.
The bottom line here is to try and aim for bland foods.
I know they don't always taste the best, but just think that you will only be having to eat them for a little while and the benefit of just eating mainly bland food and not getting morning sickness, can far outweigh any bland taste for a few months.
Tip 2 Make sure you are getting enough vitamin B.
Vitamin B is essential for the liver to function correctly.
A correctly functioning liver is crucial for the prevention of morning sickness.
Foods that you should be consuming include: Whole grains, nuts, banana avocado and chicken, to name just a few.
Again listen to your body if whole grains or nuts don't seem to agree with you, then substitute them for something else that contains vitamin B instead.
Tip 3 Eat small portions.
People that eat large portions tend to be more prone to getting morning sickness.
By eating smaller portions, spread out through out the day, you will be keeping your blood sugar levels more even and this will help prevent the feeling of nausea.
Tip 4 Eat regularly.
I bet that brought a smile to your face.
Well it is essential as stated in the previous tip for you to eat small portions but also for you to eat regularly.
This will help keep hunger at bay and make it less likely that you will reach for those unhealthy snacks that can induce the feeling of morning sickness.
Tip 5 Rest, rest, and more rest.
This is one of the ways that is reported most often to have a huge affect on whether women feel morning sickness during pregnancy or not.
The truth is that with the busy life styles of today more and more people are failing to get the amount of rest they should.
I am not just talking about sleep but just getting off their feet and resting both their body and their mind.
As a pregnant women it is essential that you make sure that you are getting enough rest for both you and your unborn baby.
That's not to say stay resting all the time as it is just as important for you get some exercise as this can really help as well, especially in making your pregnancy as a whole successful.
But it is important that you don't over do it and that you read your body and know when it needs a rest.
