You Can Choose the Sex of Your Baby!

27
Some couples don't worry very much about the sex of their future newborn.
However, if you and your partner have an overwhelming preference for a boy, there are some strategies you are able to use to tip the odds towards conceiving a baby of the gender you desire.
Certainly, there are no iron clad guarantees and the truth to always keep in mind is that having a healthy baby is more important than anything else.
There are, naturally, a range of strategies that are utilized in costly fertility clinics like artificial insemination using only male or only female sperm.
This is done by taking out as many of the sperm of the unwanted gender from the sperm sample and then inseminating the woman with the remainder.
As I said, these clinical procedures are expensive and now and then fail to yield the wanted end result.
The good news is that there are three, scientifically valid strategies that parents can use at home to significantly boost the odds of conceiving a baby of the gender that is wanted.
There is no noteworthy cost, if any, connected with these techniques so the door is open for any parents, without regard to their financial circumstances.
Even though the employment of any technique to pre-determine the gender of a baby may be controversial in some circles, the techniques we will talk about in this article are not only ethical but risk-free.
The first method is centered on the different nature or characteristics of female vs.
Male sperm.
The male sperm contain the Y chromosome while the girl contain the X chromosome.
If the first sperm to get to and penetrate the egg is a male sperm, then a male baby will be conceived.
However, if the egg is fertilized by a girl sperm, a female will be born nine months later.
The purpose of this first strategy is to attempt to control which kind of sperm has the best opportunity to fertilizing the egg.
It is important to understand the natural characteristics of each kind of sperm.
Male sperm are more lively and energetic and swim more rapidly than girl sperm.
However, boy sperm do not survive very long when compared to girl sperm.
Female sperm are leisurely swimmers and they are bigger in size than their male counterparts.
Girl sperm can be expected to survive for a few days longer than boy sperm.
The first practice makes use of these differences by timing the incidence of intercourse in relationship to the woman's probable time of ovulation.
For the best chances of conceiving a male child, intercourse should be timed to occur as close to the date of ovulation as possible.
This gives the faster swimming male sperm the advantage in terms of being first to reach the egg.
However, if a female child is desired, intercourse should be timed to occur a few days before the expected date of ovulation.
This way, the male sperm will probably be dead before the egg even enters the womb and the slower swimming female sperm will have the time they need to swim up the vagina and into the cervix in order to get there when the egg has just come into the womb.
The second technique is similar to the first in that it uses the same principal of differing sperm characteristics.
This practice is centered around sexual positions during intercourse.
If a male child is wanted, the sexual positions that allow the deepest penetration of the penis into the vagina should be employed and male climax should be at the place of deepest penetration.
This locates the sperm as near to the opening of the cervix as possible, thus shortening the journey for the faster swimming, sooner to die, boy sperm.
If a girl baby is wanted, however, sexual positions that permit only shallow penetration should be utilized and male climax should be timed to happen at the shallowest possible spot within the vagina.
The effect of this technique is to lengthen the distance to the egg, thus giving the female sperm a clear advantage.
The third and final technique has to do with controlling the acidity or alkalinity of the female's vagina and cervix.
This can be done through diet and/or certain vaginal douches.
Female sperm survive longer in acidic conditions while male sperm prefer an alkaline environment better.
Certain foods are more acidic and others are more alkaline.
Certain douching solutions are designed to be acidic while others are made to be alkaline.
At this point, it should be evident that all three strategies can be used together to increase the odds of tipping the scales towards the outcome you yearn for.
Good luck! I hope you are victorious in pre-determining the gender of your child.
As I said, there is no one hundred percent guarantee and the most crucial thing is to have a healthy baby, whether it be a boy or a girl.
Any child is one of the greatest gifts that life can offer.
