How to Treat Facial Age Spots

When applied topically, Vitamin C can brighten your overall skin tone and lighten age spots. Sun protection is essential when you are using topical Vitamin C as it can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.
- 6). Consider laser treatments. Lasers are commonly used as an effective means to treat facial age spots. Laser light targets the pigment in the age spots, essentially breaking it up. The top layers of skin are burned away to reveal smoother, less damaged skin below. After repeated treatments, your facial age spots can be completely removed.
