How to Decorate Chocolate Strawberries
- 1). Wash the strawberries thoroughly with running water, and then pat them dry so the water will not ruin the consistency of the chocolate.
- 2). Melt white and dark chocolate separately according to the package directions, and gently dip each strawberry in white chocolate. Set the strawberries on wax paper until the chocolate hardens.
- 3). Dip both sides of the strawberry in the dark chocolate at an angle to give the strawberry the appearance of having a "jacket."
- 4). Fill a piping bag with dark chocolate, and create tiny buttons and a bow on the exposed white chocolate to make it look as though the strawberry is wearing a tuxedo.
- 5). Lay the dipped strawberries on wax paper.
- 6). Cover the strawberry with toppings, such as nuts or sprinkles, before the chocolate hardens if you do not want to follow the tuxedo design. Sprinkle the toppings on the strawberries, or gently roll them in the toppings before resting them on wax paper to cool.
- 7). Arrange the strawberries nicely on a dish or a tray and serve.
