Mizuno Mx 700 Driver-mizuno Mx Drivers Review

Mizuno golf drivers have been the poor relation in comparison to their irons for many years. But a huge amount of time and money has gone into the development of their latest offering..the MX 700 driver.

The first thing to be said about it is that it is an incredibly attractive looking club and designed for players of all handicap abilities.
The face of this club is manufactured with the latest space age technology from Mizuno and that is the Ti plasma face which is welded to the rest of the head and ensures stability through the hitting area.

Because of a uniquely aligned grain flow structure Mizuno claim that the sweet spot is the biggest that they have produced to date in a driver..and my testing of the product certainly can attest to that. Even on mishits I was getting an average of and extra 15 yards with my drives.

Also because the centre of gravity is low because of the Ti plasma technology, the spin rate of the ball coming off the club is significantly reduced and anyone who loves golf knows that a low spin rate combined with a high ball flight results in booming drives.

The head size is a manageable 460cc and lofts range from 9.5 degrees to 13.5 degrees and the standard shaft is the excellent Exsar DS 4 although you can get many custom shafts fitted. The length of the mens club is 45.5 inches.

For ladies you can get lofts of 12 degrees and 13.5 degrees with increased ease of use and the ladies version is 44 inches long.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this Mizuno driver, the MX 700, and will be ditching my trusty Titleist in the coming days for my own custom fitted version.
