How to Make Feta Cheese Appetizers
- 1). Cut the tomatoes in half, crosswise. Scoop out the pulp and reserve.
- 2). Broil tomatoes on high for 3 minutes. Remove from broiler and set aside.
- 3). Pour Italian salad dressing in a small saucepan and heat until it begins to boil. Add shrimp to the dressing and cook on medium heat until the shrimp are pink.
- 4). Add reserved tomato pulp and green onions. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- 5). Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the feta cheese and bread crumbs. Mix well.
- 6). Fill each tomato skin with stuffing and garnish with reserved oregano.
