How to Do Vampiress Makeup
- 1). Apply white makeup to your face to obtain the pale complexion of a vampire. Extend the makeup down your neck so that it disappears inside your top and makes you look pale all over.
- 2). Rim your eyes with black eyeliner; the heavier, the better. Place liner on your upper lids and your lower lids, extending it around the corners of your eyes. Smudge the liner with your fingers to create a messy effect.
- 3). Paint your lips red with the brightest red lipstick that you can find. Put fangs in your mouth to add to your costume. Paint “blood” droplets from your fangs down your chin with your red lipstick to make it look as if you just finished your last feeding.
- 4). Go for black lipstick instead of red. Black lipstick gives your costume a darker, more Gothic edge than red lipstick.
- 5). Dip your index finger in dark blue eyeshadow and rub it underneath your eyes to help you achieve the "sunken" eye look that so many vampires have.
- 6). Make your cheeks look hollowed by applying a brown or gray shade of makeup--you can use a Halloween makeup or your own eyeshadows or blushes for this--under your cheekbones. Suck in your cheeks to make them appear higher and apply the color directly beneath the bones.
- 7). Brush your eyebrows with a brow brush to make them as defined as possible. Spraying a little hair spray onto the brush makes the hairs stay in place. In addition, you can use a brow pencil to better define your eyebrows so that they appear heavier and sharper.
- 8). Spray your hair with hair spray and brush it straight back off your forehead. Color it black with hair color spray paint--found in Halloween costume stores--and spray it again. Create a widow's peak on your forehead with the white makeup that you used on your face.
