Some types of breast cancer grow faster if certain hormones are present in the body.

In a healthy body, hormones help to regulate reproduction, such as a woman's fertile cycle, as well as growth of the body, muscle size and strength, repair of organs and tissues. In our modern environment, there are chemical hormones in pollution, which may interfere with reproduction, cause birth defects, or influence the growth of tumors.
