How to Make Breadcrumbs From English Muffins
- 1). Arrange the English muffins on a baking sheet and place in a preheated 325 degree oven if they're not yet stale. Bake for a few minutes until they become slightly crispy and allow to cool completely.
- 2). Tear the cooled English muffins into one-inch chunks, or do that to your stale English muffins.
- 3). Fill a food processor, coffee grinder, or blender about halfway full with English muffin chunks. Repeatedly pulse the chunks until you reach your desired consistency.
- 4). Season the breadcrumbs with salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese, and dried herbs and spices, if you wish.
