How to Make Cookery Ahead of Time
- 1). Cut up a variety of vegetables that will maintain their structure in a slow cooker. Carrots, potatoes, celery, green beans and peas are excellent choices.
- 2). Place the vegetables into the crock pot until it fills the pot halfway up.
- 3). Combine 3 cups of vegetable broth, salt, pepper and herbs in a bowl. Mix well.
- 4). Pour the liquid over the vegetables in the crock pot.
- 5). Put the lid on the crock pot. Turn it on high for a six-hour stew or low for a 10-hour stew.
