How to Get Rid of White Salt Marks on Boots
- 1). Add a few drops of mild dish soap in a bucket along with a generous quantity of cold water.
- 2). Dip your clean rag into the solution and mix it around a bit so the soap mixes with the water.
- 3). Dab the surface of the boots to carefully remove the salt stains. If you are removing the stains from suede boots, some of the color can come off, so be careful not to apply too much water. When cleaning leather or other types of boots, you can rub a little bit harder with the cloth.
- 4). Leave the boots to dry naturally overnight. When the boots have dried, check to make sure all the salt stains are gone. If not, repeat the process to remove any additional stains.
