Strivectin Side Effects
- Mild headaches in users have been reported. A worsening of headaches has also been reported with continued use of the product.
- A change in skin color can occur, anywhere from a pink color to a bright red shade; if an individual has very sensitive skin, the redness can be very extreme. Redness can even affect areas of the skin where the user did not apply the cream.
- Itching of the face is a common side effect related to Strivectin. The severity of the itch can be likened to a mosquito bite or it can be more extreme.
- A small number of users have reported irritation of the skin in the form of a rash, usually marked by small red bumps on the skin that may (but don't always) itch. The rash is generally mild, however, if there is continued use of the cream after irritation begins, the rash can worsen.
- Nausea is an especially rare side effect of Strivectin use, caused by an allergic reaction to certain ingredients in the cream. More severe cases have reported nausea leading to vomiting.
- A very rare side effect associated with the use of Strivectin is the drooping of the borders of the upper eyelid. Though this is normally temporary, the condition can worsen, even leading to vision impairment.
