Successful Anti-Aging Strategies For Your Body

24
In this article today I would like to talk about several simple tips, tricks, and tactics that just about everybody can use to age proof their body and stop the ravages of time from taking its toll on you.
Have you ever wondered why some people just seem to look young all the time even well into old age? Why are some people's bodies firm, taunt, healthy looking, and young regardless of their actual age? It's really no secret and it's not because of expensive surgeries or fancy high-priced cosmetic devices...
Well, sometimes it is, but most of the time it's not; it is merely because of some of the things that I'm going to discuss in this article today.
Most people don't realize that the aging process in our bodies starts much earlier than they think sometimes as early as only 35 years old for many people.
But it doesn't have to be the case and there are many things you can do to slow down or even reverse the aging process.
When it comes to anti-aging, most research focuses on antioxidants because they tend to deactivate something called free radicals in our bodies.
Free radicals are thought to be a major factor in attacking cell membranes, proteins, and sometimes even our very DNA.
There are a number of antioxidants that help fight against free radicals and they include carotenoids found in sweet potatoes and other red and yellow vegetables, vitamins E best found in supplement form, vitamin C found in citrus fruits, and selenium found often in seafood.
Anything you can do to increase the number of these things in your body is beneficial but is only the first step down the path to anti-aging.
Unfortunately the next step is a little bit harder and involves exercise.
I don't think it's very hard to understand that exercise is the cornerstone to creating a healthy, long lasting anti-aged body.
When it comes to anti-aging there are basically two forms of exercise that you're going to need to focus on.
One is aerobic and the other is muscle creation such as weightlifting.
As we grow older our muscle mass deteriorates if left to itself, therefore you should create a weightlifting regime, 3 to 5 times a week, to help replace lost muscle.
And of course aerobic exercise is obvious for any number of reasons so I suggest doing an aerobic exercise on the days when you're not working on muscle mass exercises.
Aerobic exercise can be found in thousands of different things from jogging to walking to riding an exercise bike or swimming.
Basically focus on whatever you like to do and whatever you find enjoyable because that is the key to sticking with it.
So there you have several very simple tricks and tactics that anybody can use to help reverse the signs of aging and lead a long and healthy life.
Diet and exercise, who knew?!
