How to Hit Low Trajectory Golf Shots
- 1). Line the golf ball up in the back of your stance. This will allow you to hit the ball while your swing is still on its way down, keeping the golf ball low after contact.
- 2). Choke up on your club to allow for a shorter swing. This will allow for less of a loop and will stop you from lofting it into the air.
- 3). Hinge your wrists as little as possible during your back swing. Keep the wrists solid to avoid snapping at the bottom to force the ball upward.
- 4). Keep your wrists solid through impact and stop your follow through as quickly as possible. Stopping your follow through will allow you to to keep the ball from following the club into the air.
