Stretches to Get Taller Even After Puberty
Scientists first realized human growth isn't quite as simple as finishing at puberty when they noticed a curious occurrence in older people - ears and noses continued to grow right into old age.
Albeit slowly they did grow more so than the rest of the body.
This spurred some investigation and research into human growth and some startling revelations were made: 1.
Human growth doesn't cease completely after puberty.
2.
Growth can be stimulated in the human body to help get taller.
3.
There's a set of factors you can perform to get increases in height.
Genetic predisposition will cause your body to signal a slowing of growth around the age of 18 for girls and 21 for men.
Now to get the biggest increases in height it will always be easier if you strike early on but you can still use stretches to get taller in your 30's, 40' and even your 50's! Well you can't change your genetics but you can stimulate your body into growth by performing some key exercises that involve stretching routines that cause the nerves, muscles and bones of the body to 'wake up' and begin laying the cellular foundation of further growth.
A quick introduction to just 3 of these exercises will follow but there's many, many more available and the more you can carry out the more balanced and rapid your height increase will be.
Feline Stretch You may have heard of this from yoga and the ancient Indians knew a thing or two about molding the body to the form they wanted with yoga.
Here you are using a very powerful stretch to decompress, stimulate and shift your vertebrae.
Begin by kneeling on all fours with knees under hips and hands under shoulders.
Spread the fingers out on the floor.
Contract your abs inwards to bring your head, neck and back in alignment.
Inhale as you tip your hip bones towards the ceiling while drawing the shoulders back and away from your ears; look up.
As you exhale and tuck your chin while pulling your abs towards your spine.
Round the back and feel a stretch down the length of your spine.
Repeat for 5 to 10 breaths.
Back Roll Straight after performing the feline stretch its important to do the back roll.
This stimulates deep into the muscles of the back and fires those 'grow taller' signals to the rest of the body.
You simply roll into a tight ball taking hold of your legs then rolling back onto your back.
Roll back and forth like this over your back.
Continue this for at least 15 seconds.
Shoulder Correction This is a great exercise for improving back health and posture.
You will notice a huge improvement in your height with this exercise after 10-14 days of regular evening repetitions.
Start by lying face down on the floor with your arms hanging free and relaxed at your side.
You may find your shoulders droop and touch the floor but wherever they are you need to lift your shoulders, arms and hands as far off the floor as you can and hold for 10 seconds before dropping them.
You won't just be getting taller you'll feel a lot better too.
These are three of the main stretches designed to help you get taller even after puberty.
There's many more and also some nutritional advice too.
