What is Andropause?

28
All women go through a "change of life" called menopause.
For many years (centuries even) it was thought that women were the only gender to go through a "change of life.
"Most thought that men simply stayed exactly as they were.
Most women thought this was unfair.
First they had to learn to deal with life having a menstrual cycle then they had to readjust to life without it?All while their husbands complained that they were being too moody?Where was the justice in that? In the last few years though, men have began to notice their own "change of life" was happening.
As they entered into their middle aged years, they noticed that they were often feeling lethargic and unsatisfied.
What used to give them pleasure in life no longer held the same appeal.
Often they would feel anxious or nervous and not know why.
Their libidos suddenly went on vacation, leaving them behind wondering why they suddenly no longer had much interest in having sex.
Often men would gain some weight and realize that their metabolism levels had dropped.
For a while people referred to this as the "male mid life crisis" and it was usually remedied with really fast cars.
As time went on, however, these changes began to be called the "male menopause" because the symptoms so closely mirrored that of the female menopause.
The term "male menopause" angered many scientists because technically it is scientifically impossible for a man to go through menopause at all.
The term menopause, when literally translated, means the ending of the menstrual cycle.
Because men do not have menstrual cycles (no matter how many complaints about dealing with the PMS of the females in their lives) there is no way that a man can go through menopause.
Thus, the term "the andropause" was coined.
The first method of treating the andropause is therapy.
Therapy can help a man deal with his sudden and unexpected moodiness.
It will help him to deal with his feelings of nervousness and anxiety.
It can even help him come to terms with his diminished libido.
Another way to deal with the andropause is by eating a healthy diet and getting plenty of exercise.
A healthy diet will help men to regulate their vitamin and mineral levels as well as making sure that they are only taking in the amount of calories they need each day.
An increased exercise program can help them burn off the weight they've gained.
It will also kick up the production of endorphins, nature's mood elevators.
The best way of treating the andropause, however, is with a hormone replacement and herbal remedy called Provacyl.
Provacyl will help men's testosterone levels return to normal and because it contains copious amounts of ginseng and ginko biloba, it will help calm their changing moods and increase their mental alertness.
Thanks to Provacyl, men are able to lead the lives they have become accustomed to, no matter what age they are.
