How to Conduct a Manicure Party for Girls

27
    • 1). Create personal manicure stations. At each seating, place a bowl filled with warm water (to which essential oils can be added if desired), a nail clipper, a nail file and buffer, a cuticle stick and a towel. Some items may be shared during a manicure party, but each guest should have these particular items for their own use in order to prevent any hygiene problems. If you want to turn your manicure party into a mani-pedi party, place a large basin at each setting for your guests' feet.

    • 2). Place items to be shared at every few seatings down the length of the table. Items such as cotton balls, nail polish remover and nail polish should be located in easy to reach places. Have an array of shades from which your guests can choose -- black, red, white and metallics are popular year-round nail polish colors. Base and topcoat polish should also be provided.

    • 3). Set food and drinks in a separate area. Not only is having food on the table where people are trimming and grooming their nails unhygienic, it can also cause congestion. You can opt to serve refreshments after the manicures are complete, but if you want guests to feel free to munch on snacks as they please, create a serving area in another room where they can eat and socialize.

    • 4). Play music in the background. Select music that is fun and upbeat or music that typically is played in a spa (e.g., tranquil environmental sounds). Set the music at a level that allows guests to talk with each other without having to raise their voices.
