A Natural Cure Worked for My Yeast Infections

24
Yeast infections are a problem for a large majority of people.
About 75% of women will have at least one episode in their lifetime and most of them will eventually deal with multiple occurrences.
Unfortunately, I'm one of those people who went through a couple of dozen in my lifetime so I can identify with the majority of women.
Any woman who has experienced a yeast infection is familiar with the annoying, uncomfortable symptoms associated with the condition.
It's not painful but it's uncomfortable.
My symptoms included a burning, itchy sensation in the vaginal area.
There can be tenderness and soreness and some women even get a rash in the area.
The basic cause for an infection is a change in the vaginal environment.
It's typically acidic in nature.
The human body maintains a healthy balance of fungi and bacteria.
But changes in that balance may lead to candida overgrowth, which can ultimately lead to an infection.
Pregnancy, menstruation, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, stress, lack of sleep - are all reasons a person's body can end up with an imbalance of fungi and bacteria leading to an infection.
My doctor usually prescribed suppositories which are messy to use.
The worst year that I experienced had me visiting my doctor ten times in ten months.
That long stretch drove me to look for alternative treatments that would help get rid of these once and for all.
I was also concerned that I would build up a resistance to these medications my doctor prescribed.
Medical professionals have been warning people for years that our bodies will build up a resistance to commonly prescribed medications like antibiotics.
Now they're encouraging people not to jump to prescriptions too easily.
Homeopathic and alternative options are becoming more and more prevalent with the public so companies are coming up with quality alternative treatments to Western medicine.
Some women will treat the symptoms with either tea tree oil or gentian violet.
These are helpful in relieving the symptoms but will not remove the infection.
I can't vouch for these suggestions but many women said these natural treatments really helped.
I was focused on finding an answer to ending my infections not covering up the symptoms.
I used an approach that tackled the underlying cause of the yeast infection.
I found that Yeastrol, a homeopathic product, helped me to get rid of my recurring infections by treating the cause - which was an overabundance of yeast.
The only negative I found with this product is the amount of time required to complete the application - it will take months.
But it's very safe and just requires a couple sprays under the tongue three times a day.
It's not guaranteed to work for everyone but I was one of the lucky ones and the majority of reviews give this product a positive review.
