Tie Your Shirt With A Single Knot

    • 1). Cut the shirt along the side. Start at the bottom of the shirt directly under the arm pit. The length of the cut is a stylistic decision, but about 5 inches should be enough to get the effect.

    • 2). Wrap the front flap around the back flap and make a loop with your finger.

    • 3). Push the bottom of the front flap through the loop and pull your finger out of the loop.

    • 4). Pull the knot tight enough to be secure.

    • 5). Adjust the tightness of the knot to style.

Tie Your Shirt With A Series of Knots

    • 1). Cut the shirt along the side. Start at the bottom of the shirt directly under the arm pit. The cut should go up until the fabric starts to turn for the arm pit.

    • 2). Make 2-inch cuts on each flap at 1-inch intervals.

    • 3). Tie the strips made by the 2-inch cuts starting at the top.
