What Is The Balance For A Healthy Fat Intake?

Is there really even a fat ballance

It is a no brainer to realize that the amount of fat we take in everyday is going to increase and
Decrease from day to day. I think it is an overall average that is most important when it come to your
fat intake. When we look at it from this perspective, we see a couple things.
1. The fat we eat in one meal doesn't mean as much so we don't get depre3ssed or feel bad and stew
over it.
2. When we look at it over the course of a month or so, if we eat a lot at this meal like at
Thanksgiving, then we try to balance it out over a period of time and the average gives us our weight
Anyway as fluctuation of weight, everyone knows changes from day to day.
It is time for change

We can make those adjustments to our diet by the way we shop and even prepare the food and also by preparing healthy foods that taste good that people will eat. One of the biggest reasons we can plan ahead our meals is because of nutrition labels. This has done wonders for dieting. It allows us to see the fat we would take in but also allows us to compare the products. We even see in restaurants these days the calories being labeled on menus.

The fat battle rages on

While half the battle is figuring out what you can eat and want to eat, the other half the battle is planning for other people.
A younger person or a more active person may get away with consuming a lot more calories and their
body may even need those calories while an older person or less active person should aim for a much
lower fat intake. So we as parents need to keep our kids in mind when we plan to go shopping for
groceries. A teenager may even need to eat snacks regularly so we need to provide a nutritious snack or them also.
With the weight gain in our world today, it is no surprise that we need to watch our fat intake. We
have fried foods at every restaurant and at every gas station, but even more so many of us have a
deep fryer at home. It is proven that too much fat causes a lot of health issues including several different types of cancers such as breast and colon cancer and it appears that some studies show that prostate cancer may be cause by too much fat as
well.
It's time to make a change and be equipped to do it so we can be there for our families for years to
come and be energetic so we can play with our kids and grand kids.
