How to Pamper Yourself at Home

28
The typical person wakes up in the morning, makes breakfast, goes to work all day, comes home, makes dinner, cleans up around the house, then goes to bed.
Maybe you have a few extra things in your routine, but basically everyone does the same thing day in and day out.
This does not only get monotonous and boring for some, but it stresses the body everyday, and this stress can build up over time, sometimes causing both mental and physical illness.
Learn how to pamper yourself at home and reduce the stress often.
Not only will it make you feel great, but it is good for your health! Step One: Wash Your Hair The first step to any pampering session is washing your hair.
Once it's out of the way, you can focus on the rest of your body.
Make sure you wash it well, massaging your scalp with your fingers.
To feel like you're being pampered, use a special conditioner or a leave-in hair treatment that will make your hair feeling soft and beautiful once it dries out.
Step Two: Give Yourself a Facial The home facial doesn't have to be complicated.
In fact, some people have done a lot more harm than good trying to give themselves a professional facial at home.
Keep it simple.
Use a mild exfoliant followed by an anti-aging mask.
(Helpful hint: before starting on your facial, start the preparations for your bubble bath.
) Step Three: Give Yourself a Bubble Bath After you've washed off your mask.
Ease yourself into a warm bubble bath (not too hot as that can konk you out!) Let yourself sit and relax for a good fifteen to twenty minutes.
Afterwards, scrub your body and rinse off.
Pat yourself dry with a towel and apply some moisturizing body lotion right away.
Step Four: Scrub Your Feet The feet are one of the most forgotten parts of the body, but they work really hard and need to be pampered.
Give yourself a foot scrub before leaving the bathroom.
File the hard parts of your feet, then scrub them with an exfoliant.
If you want to clean out your toes or cut and file them, go ahead.
Just be sure to moisturize your feet with a thick foot moisturizer and put on some socks to seal in the moisture.
Step Five: Have a Glass of Wine You don't really need to have a glass of wine, but do whatever you need to do to complete the relaxation process.
Maybe you'd like to eat some chocolate, do your nails, or simply watch TV.
Just stay in the calm relaxed state you will find yourself in.
Whatever cleaning up has to be done, it can wait till tomorrow.
It is important to try and find some time once or twice a month (or as often as you like, really) to relax and give your body some special treatment.
Knowing how to pamper yourself at home lets you do this without having to spend too much money on spa treatments, though going to visit a spa and having someone do it for you once in a while is worth it too!
