Some oils are best applied directly to your hair as a pre-shampoo treatment or daily moisturizer. You can also find hair care products such shampoos and conditioners with these oils as active ingredients. - Argan oil comes from the kernels of the argan fruit. Referred to as miracle oil by the Argan Oil Society and as liquid gold by beauty experts, it has the ability to penetrate hair and hydrate it from the inside out. Vitamin E and natural antioxidants are present in argan oil, which is helpful in repairing damage to hair done by heat styling and other processes. Apply a small amount of extra virgin coconut oil to your hair daily, concentrating on the ends for moisture and shine that will last all day. Use it as a deep conditioner after shampooing your hair by applying a quarter sized amount to your hair, or more for longer hair, then cover with a plastic cap. Allow it to penetrate your hair for 1 hour and then rinse it out.
