Lose Weight By Drinking Water!
Drinking water is a valuable weapon in your fight to lose weight.
This is great because we all need it to survive! If you don't drink water for three days you'll find yourself dead in a coffin waiting to meet your maker.
So while you may like depriving yourself of water, I strongly recommend against it.
Drinking water has been scientifically proven to aid weight loss among people of all ages.
Why you might ask? There are many forms of metabolism going on in your body right now.
The one you need to worry about is the metabolism of fat.
It is your liver's responsibility to convert stored fat to energy.
Another function of the liver is to pick up the slack of the kidneys when they don't have enough water.
When the kidneys are thirsty for water, the liver is forced to do their job.
As a result, the liver cannot metabolize fat as quickly.
When you don't drink enough water, your body will store fat rather than metabolize it! At first, when you increase your water intake, you're gonna notice that you'll be frequenting the bathroom a lot more.
While this may be inconvenient, this is a great thing! The reason you'll be visiting the bathroom more is because your body is getting rid of the excess water it had been storing during all that time it was in survival mode.
It stored extra water because you weren't giving it an adequate supply.
The great news is that this consistent excretion of water will stop.
Your body will start thinking that this water will keep flowing in and it won't need to save it in order to survive.
In addition to helping you lose weight, water will make you beautiful! Water purifies your skin and leaves you with a glowing complexion.
Have you ever seen someone that just seems to glow.
That's because they are drinking plenty of water.
If you have wrinkles or saggy skin, water will pump it back up as your skin cells get re-hydrated.
Pretty cool huh? One of the other cool things about water is that it provides muscle tone, and God knows we all need that.
If you're trying to tone your muscles in the gym, water is key.
Muscles need water in order to fully contract.
Hydrated muscles contract much easier which enables you to have a much more effective workout.
So how much water should you drink.
An easy rule of thumb is eight glasses a day.
If you're overweight, you should drink eight ounces for every 25 pounds of excess weight that you're carrying.
If you live in a hot climate, you should up it even more.
Make sure this is spaced out throughout the day.
Do not try and drink 8 glasses at one time.
This is actually really dangerous.
Your body can literally become intoxicated on water and can lead to death.
Try to find time 3-4 times a day to drink a big glass of water.
Then, sip on water in between.
If you feel thirsty at any point in the day, you are already dehydrated.
You should never feel thirsty.
Stop drinking water 3-4 hours before bed.
You can break this rule at your own risk.
If you wake up in the middle of night covered in wetness, you probably just pissed yourself as a result of drinking too much water before bed unless you got hit by a rogue rain blast.
Now you understand why it is so important to drink plenty of water.
Drink water and lose your beer gut.
If you don't drink water, have fun adding another ten pounds to your already big butt.
(Sorry to be blunt.
