How to Weave Updos
- 1). Install your weave by either gluing it in or braiding it in. To glue in the weave, part your hair in even horizontal sections. Apply hair glue to the top of the weave track and lay the glued weave down at the top of your parted hair. If braiding a weaved updo in, part your hair in horizontal sections beginning at the back of your head, braid you hair and work around your entire head until you reach the top (you may need assistance with this). Next, thread a weave sewing needle and sew the weave onto your braids beginning at the back of your hair.
- 2). Trim your updo weave to the desired length after it is completely installed.
- 3). Curl your weave into spiral curls using the curling iron and finger comb it to loosen the curls. Twist your weave up starting from the back of your head and put it into a bun on top of your hair. Hold the updo in place with bobby pins.
- 4). Your updo weave can be styled in various ways, including in a loose or "messy" bun placed on top of your head or in a high ponytail.
