How to Trim True Temper BiMatrix Golf Shafts
- 1). Place the shaft in the shaft clamp and secure the clamp in the vise.
- 2). Measure how much you want to trim the shaft from the butt end only. The BiMatrx shaft should not be trimmed from the tip.
- 3). Wrap one layer of masking tape around the shaft at the point where you intend to trim. The tape keeps the graphite from splitting during trimming.
- 4). Cut the shaft using the hacksaw. Be sure the blade is sharp; a dull blade can ruin a graphite shaft.
