If you are looking to increase your vertical leap then you have got to include the art of kettlebell training into your workout program.
As a professional I can tell you that all of the best athletes don't just train hard, but they all have a smart training plan as well.
Kettlebell training is about smart training and the kettlebell snatch is a smart training lift for you to increase your vertical leap fast! Read on if I have your attention.
Kettlebell Snatch In order for you to increase your vertical jump you must increase the performance of your vertical jumping muscles.
This is only done by you knowing what kind of exercises to apply to your program that will spur this kind of physical performance.
The snatch is a tremendous lift that you can perform with the kettlebell to drastically enhance the muscles you need for that very purpose.
To execute the snatch you will at least need the availability of a single bell and be willing to devote the time and effort to the proper technique involved in the snatching lift.
To execute this lift you will want to vertically pull the bell from either the ground or from between your legs up to a held position above your head in one smooth explosive movement.
To do this you will have to initiate the vertical explosion of your hips and knees in an action known at the hip snap or hip thrust.
This is where you will have to forcefully flex and then extend at both your hip and knee joints in order to create the power you need in order to elevate the kettlebell to a lateral position to your head.
Once you get the bell to this lateral position next to your head you will then want to vertically punch your palm towards the sky in order to lock the bell out overhead to complete the lift.
Now this is the perfect lift for combining elements that are essential for athletic feats such as vertical jumping.
The reason for this is that this very movement mimics the act of jumping better than just about any other weight resisted movement you can apply for this specific task.
This entire process is tremendous for helping you to develop superior core strength, hip power, shoulder stability, and the conditioning of a 1st class athlete.
All of these physical traits will undoubtedly add inches to your vertical leaping power and get you soaring through the air in no time.
This is a vertical jumping workout at it's best my friend.
