How to Get Rid of an Ear Itch?

30
    • 1). Tilt your head to the side and use an ear dropper to drip five drops of hydrogen peroxide in to the ear.

    • 2). Keep your head tilted for at least three minutes. You may hear some fizzing, and that is perfectly normal. A pillow can keep your head propped if your neck begins to get tired of holding your head up in a tilted position.

    • 3). Hold a towel under your ear and tilt you head back to an upright position. The hydrogen peroxide will have cleaned your ear out and alleviated any itch that was present inside of your ear.

    • 4). Pick up a steroidal cream at your local pharmacy and rub it on any itch that is outside of the ear canal. This will reduce any inflammation and itchiness associated with the aggravated mast cells.

    • 5). Use tree tea oil on the outside of your ear canal if you are not fond of using a steroidal cream. Just rub two drops of the oil over the itch.
