    • 1). Sign a new football. Ask everyone who attends the party to sign their name and date a brand new football. This will be used as a prize at the end of the super bowl game that will remind the person who wins it of just how much fun they had at your party.

    • 2). Request signatures and score predictions from all party attendees. Use a blank piece of paper to write every person's name and score estimation. Whoever wants to participate can provide their best guess as to which team will win and what they believe the score will be. Whoever is the closest at the end of the game wins the signed football.

    • 3). Go outside and throw the signed football around to get some blood flowing and warm up for the afternoon's event. Whoever wins the ball may then have the memories of tossing the ball around with friends and the anticipation of everyone's score predictions when they look at the ball long after that year's game.

    • 4). Regress to the norm. Drinking games are common and almost expected during Super Bowl parties. Surprisingly, this does not necessarily mean alcohol. Drinking games can be played with food, water or other beverages. For added adventure, make drinks using items such as pickle juice, horseradish, hot sauce and any other strong tasting item that you can mix together and force the game loser to drink.

    Food

    • 1). Bake several potatoes. Depending on how many guests you anticipate at your Super Bowl party, and what sort of appetites your guests have, potatoes are an inexpensive and filling food that you can serve. Try twice baked potatoes for your guests. Wrap the potatoes in foil and bake at four hundred degrees for approximately two hours. Allow to cool. Scrape out the meat of the potatoes into a large mixing bowl and leave the skins on a baking sheet. Mix 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese, salt and pepper to taste, per four potatoes. Scoop the potato filling into the empty skins and sprinkle salt, pepper and bacon bits on top. Bake the stuffed potatoes for 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese has melted.

    • 2). Bake premade sugar cookies. Shape the dough as ovals and bake on a cookie sheet until golden brown. Use colored icing to draw three lines on the cookies. Finish the design as a football on the cookies by crossing the middle line to look like football stitches.

    • 3). Set out chips and dip. Chips and dip are age old snacks for football games. If guests ask what they can bring or if you want some items that are inexpensive yet tasty, chips and dip are excellent solutions. Salty, crunchy and filling, buy original potato chips and sour cream and onion dip, or shake it up a bit and serve pretzel chips with a cheddar cheese dip.
