Frustrated Herbalife Distributors.
We all know that Herbalife has a great product line up. From weight loss to supplements and tons in between - it can't be beat.
And it has a lucrative business opportunity where you can make good money over time.
But, as good as Herbalife is - the troubling aspect of the business is finding buyers for the products and the business opportunity.
What I found was most of the successful Herbalife distributors were in other MLM opportunities before they got into Herbalife. So their advantage was being able to take the list of customers they had from the previous businesses and move them into Herbalife.
But how many of us have such lists? Very few. That's why your uplines pound into you to call upon your family and friends to push the products and opportunity. What they feel is, if you like the products and feel the business opportunity will help them, then it is your duty to get them in, or their other friends or neighbors may beat you to them. No pressure there.
Now, don't get me wrong - some of the larger sponsoring groups do have rather involved marketing ideas and support systems. Only problem with them is they want you to buy their expensive back office systems and leads and call the heck out of them.
Want to spend hours upon hours calling strangers who signed up to win a chance at a big screen TV? Or others who were lured in to try a weight loss product then try to convert them to a business opportunity buyer?
Or, the other methods they teach like; confronting people in the grocery store lines, placing flyers on cars in parking lots and laundry mats, holding sales out of the back of your car in busy parking lots, wearing buttons that proclaim "Ask Me About Weight Loss."
Calling leads is hard, and so are all of the other old school recruiting methods that even the best uplines in Herbalife teach.
It's time for Herbalife sponsors to embrace Internet marketing of the 21st century and not those of the 1950s. After all, you've got great products and opportunity so why keep yourself mired in the ways of the 1950s.
