Video: Potato Skins Recipe
Video Transcript
Alright, today we're going to be making potato skins. You're going to take a precooked potato after it's cooled down and you're going to cut it in half. To make these you can always make the potatoes the day before and refrigerate them over night. You're going to have to start cooking your bacon. Use as much as you want to, as little as you want to. It's your taste. You can always make some bacon and munch on it while you're cooking. Chop those in half and make little bacon bits. Take some chives and cut them into small little pieces, and now you're going to put it all together. You're going to add you bacon first. Nice little row. You don't want to waste any. Just put it on there. Now you're going to go ahead and season it with some pepper, salt, and some garlic if you'd like. It's all up to you. You're the chef here. Now you're going to add some cheese enough to cover it. If you do the bacon and cheese way, this way the cheese encompasses the bacon and cooks it right into the potato. Other way around, the bacon can just fall off it wants to. Now you're going to top it off with your chives, throw it in the oven for about 10-15 minutes and there you go, potato skins.
