Four Major Forms of Reiki Meditation

Meditation plays a very important role in the ancient Japanese healing practice of Reiki.
Reiki meditation has a number of benefits, such as clairvoyance (or the ability to see things that are yet to happen), a greater sense of visualization, an enhanced form of visualization (and an improved sense of self-healing), and a greater awareness of everything that happens in the environment.
When a person meditates, he or she achieves a sense of balance with his or her body's energy.
This sense of balance greatly helps in the healing process as well as in healing other people through the ability called "energy attunement".
And like what any other meditation technique, the Reiki meditation also points it out that things should not be forced to happen, but should be allowed to "just flow" on their own instead.
When you let things "flow" in your life, you will be able to avoid or minimize frustrations and will be able to achieve inner peace.
It is impossible to force things to change in your life, all you can do is to accept them freely anyway.
There are four major forms of Reiki meditation.
These are: 1.
Breathing - the introduction of all the other forms.
Meditation in Reiki will need you to breathe slowly and to focus.
In instances that you will be asked to breathe normally, it usually indicates an end of the breathing meditation stage as a transition from one meditative state to the next.

Visualization - this is also called the based meditation, a different form or meditation in Reiki.
This is when you visualize (thus the name) a certain Reiki symbol or a different object using your "third eye" as clearly as you can (in some cases, you will be asked to visualize a certain life goal).
This form of Reiki meditation is only done by Reiki practitioners who have already reached the second degree in Reiki training.

Postural meditation - in this form, one can be in a meditative state using the different postures and positions in Reiki.
Postural meditation usually serves as a prelude to a different form of meditation, like the Breathing meditation, which is also a transition to another meditation form.
This can be done by sitting or lying down, as well as other postures.
4.
Moment to Moment meditation - this is the last form of meditation in the healing practice of Reiki.
What it requires are a much more serious contribution - devotion and manifestation of Reiki in the day to day roles of the practitioner.
Understanding and at the same time avoiding worry or anger together with the strong sense of devotion in one's particular vocation are the essentials in order to accomplish moment to moment meditation.
