If you want to play a sport but want to do it in a leisurely manner then billiards is the right thing for you. This sport doesn't require exercising physical prowess in order to play the game. You don't have to be tall, well-built or be in a certain weight class. As long as you can hold a pool cue in your hand and able to see the pool balls you are going to strike then you can get in and can enjoy the game.

Playing this sport will not require you to invest in a myriad of billiard supplies right away, too. You can go to a sports bar or a pool hall and rent their billiard equipment. The pool cues are very important because they can significantly affect your striking power. You have to choose the appropriate length because holding an extremely long cue can be very heavy and it will feel cumbersome to be placed in a striking position.
