How to Cure Your Smoking Addiction - How I Did It

51
If you want to know how to cure your smoking addiction then please read on - what I'm about to tell you could change your life.
You see, I used to be a smoker myself, over 8 years ago.
I hope you can learn from how I cured my own smoking addiction.
I grew up in a family of smokers.
My father and my mother and all my grandparents smoked.
They came from an age where more adults smoked than didn't smoke! Of course, that was before they knew about the bad health effects.
Anyway, with time both my brother and I also got hooked, despite being told "never to start smoking".
Pretty soon I was unhappy and wanted to find a way out of my cigarette addiction.
The first place I looked to was the traditional methods.
I started by simply cutting down.
It was not too difficult to smoke a cigarette less every day but when it came to those last 5 and trying to stop for good...
well, it was pretty much impossible.
So next I tried the patches.
I mean, they sell these everywhere so they must work, right? That's what I thought anyway.
So I whipped a patch on and within 30 minutes I started to feel sick.
As soon as I could, I ripped it off and started smoking again.
Oh well, cutting down on the patches was probably going to be as difficult as cutting down on cigarettes, right? So next I tried quitting cold turkey.
This was going to be it.
It was quit or bust as far as I was concerned.
I set myself a quit date a week ahead and I was focussed - this time I was going to succeed.
When the day came, I lasted all of about 2 days before I just had to have another cigarette.
Failure yet again! What was I to do? No matter what I tried to do, it always ended up the same way - failure! Each method was basically the same, it was some attempt to try and reduce the huge shock on quitting.
The wretched cravings and the huge willpower that I needed to summon.
If only there was a way to quit smoking without willpower or getting any cravings...
And then I got lucky.
I literally stumbled upon the advice I needed to quit smoking for good.
I couldn't believe it - I was being shown a way to quit that was actually easy.
And, according to the claims, I would never, ever crave a cigarette again.
I simply didn't believe it, but in the back of my mind there was hope.
I was determined to give it a shot.
I simply could not believe what was going to happen next.
Within a few days, I was cured.
What's more, I have not smoked a cigarette in 8 years.
And - get this - I don't even want a cigarette.
You could give me a cigarette today and I wouldn't need any willpower to resist.
It's got nothing to do with getting hooked again or the bad health reasons.
I simply don't want a cigarette.
So, what do I want you to take from my story? The best advice that I can give you on how to cure your smoking addiction is to simply open your mind and be receptive to novel ways to quit smoking.
Looking back, if I had dismissed that final method then I would still probably be a smoker today.
Keep an open mind and take care of yourself.
