How to Motivate Yourself
Motivating yourself is something every person should be able to do. I know it's easier said than done, "Do you have problems motivating yourself?" Sometimes we need a little help to self-motivate. I want to share this short video with you by Anthony Robbins and share some of my thoughts on what I learned from the Anthony Robbins today and I hope that by me sharing this with you, you will get motivated enough to change something in your life too. When you want to change an area in your life, you need 3 things:
"You need a clear and compelling vision for what you want"
According to Tony Robbins An american self-help author and motivational speaker, to change an area in your life, you need 3 things. The first is a clear and compelling vision for what you want. Tony compares the 3 things you need to pillars, and the first pillar is where you need to get focused and have a crystal clear vision on what you want to change. I would definitely agree with Tony about having clarity. How can you change an area in your life and you can't see the outcome of the change. You want to have a vision of exactly how you see yourself changed before you get there. Focus on what you want, and not what you don't want. Not only must you focus, you need to create a clear and compelling Future in that area so you have a smooth transition to your vision.
"Get the Best"
I'm sure you understand why getting the best tools to change an area in your life are important. You need the best of the best, to be the best you possible. Tools and a map are very important when your trying to get somewhere right. Well, it's just important when your trying to get somewhere with your life as well as in your car. With this pillar, I learned throughout my life. I realized that when you want the success that another person has, mimic what they do. Find out their daily actions are and focus on your target. It doesn't make sense to start from scratch, when you have already found the clues from someone else that has what you want. Just take action with the best tools possible and hit your target.
"Resolve your inner conflicts"
Resolving your inner conflicts is the third Pillar or third thing you need to change and area in your life. Recognizing and acknowledging that you have inner conflicts would be most important in this pillar. Just like denial, "Admittance is the first step to recovery!" Thereafter, have you heard about the 80/20 rule before? Well in the video Tony Said, "%80 of success with anything is your psychology and %20 is the mechanics." So with that said, I believe that the most important thing when changing is mindset. You need to change your mindset, which would be your psychology. So, are you ready to unlock and unleash your inner badass. No one can do it for you. Only you have to the power to change, and eliminate the things that are pulling you away from what you want. You definitely can't get where you want if something is pulling you in the other direction.
P.S. I've recognized an area in my life that I want to change and I have a crystal clear vision of myself already there. I hope you are inspired to change any area of your life that you feel needs it.
