The Power of Intention: The Shortest Path to Healing and Chronic Pain Relief

74
Does it seem surprising that we can accomplish huge leaps in medicine and science but have yet to make a dent in erasing chronic, everyday health issues? Finding the cure to the common cold seems akin to locating the lost city of Atlantis! As medical intuitive clients will come to me from all parts of the health spectrum: from serious chronic disease, to weight problems and low energy.
What has surprised me is how many people have one thing in common: chronic pain.
It is disturbing to see how people have become so accustomed to having the pain, it is an accepted constant in their lives.
And instead of looking for the solution to getting rid of it, they search for management options: medication, exercise, therapy, chiropractors, and the like.
These options all have their place in the healing spectrum - yes, even medication (temporarily).
But what about getting rid of the pain for good? Have we become so used to hearing "no" from doctors, other patients, our families, and the media that we assume that is the answer without bothering to ask the question? For anyone that has had any experience with the goal-setting, self-help, personal development mindset - you know that you're told to "go for it!" to try hard, that nothing is impossible.
But when it comes to your health, especially with a condition that is said to be "chronic" - you give up.
You accept what you're told and the limits you're given.
If pain management is the only option your doctor gives you, you resign yourself to its long term presence in your life.
Is that all there is? Absolutely not.
The problem with accepting limitations and basing your recovery and healing on the experiences of other people is it closes you off to what is actually possible.
It's like confining your food choices to the first paragraph of a menu that is 16 pages long.
So what's the first step, the most important crucial step to removing and completely releasing a condition like chronic pain for good? It's letting go of the belief that other people can define your limitations.
That's it.
Relationships, family, career, fitness, health, healing, wellness, money - whatever it is, your limitations are what you decide they are.
Do you refuse to set any limit for yourself at all? Go to the head of the class, because now nothing is out of reach.
The clients I see have another thing in common besides chronic pain - they are willing to make that step, they don't accept "management".
They want answers, they are open (even if it's just a little bit) to the possibility of being without pain.
And with that specific intention, we can find their answers and a blueprint is formed for healing and releasing the pain for good.
