Motivation Should Be the First Thing on Your Mind

26
How we wake up in the morning can colour the rest of our day.
When we decide to make the most of each and every day, decide to do the best we can and make our life as positive as possible we influence everything and everyone about us.
Let's look at the reasons why motivation should be the first thing on our mind: - Motivation generates enthusiasm and energy.
When we are motivated we have a better attitude, sense of optimism and determination.
We are keen to set goals and projects and have a far greater chance of success than someone who is not.
When there is a sense of purpose we become more alert, take better care of ourselves and focus on ways to achieve our tasks and goals.
- Others benefit as we influence and motivate them to achieve better results, to be enthusiastic and engaged in what they are doing.
Whether it be work or social, fun or serious, motivating others improves the atmosphere, encourages others to work harder and make more effort.
- We encourage more ingenious thinking.
We all make more of an effort when we enjoy what we are doing.
Motivation generates energy, imagination, effort.
Motivated people are more positive, confident and prepared to think outside the box and come up with innovative ideas and solutions to problems.
- Passion and motivation often go hand in hand.
When we are doing something that is important to us, we automatically demonstrate loyalty and commitment to what we are doing.
Conversely, when a person is feeling low and demotivated everything requires more effort.
Being motivated and keen sustains determination and focus.
Problems and set backs are easier to deal with and do not have the same negative, debilitating effect.
- Excuses, reasons, procrastination may at times try to distract us from having a go.
We may need to look at the underlying reasons behind this attitude.
Are we afraid of failure, do we suspect that we may not be good enough to succeed? Sometimes we may feel that we are living another person's dream and deep down are not motivated by their goals.
It is important to recognise and understand the reasons for our resistance.
Hypnotherapy can be a valuable tool in these situations as it helps with understanding and dealing appropriately with underlying patterns of behaviour.
Then we can start to decide which goals suit us better.
- Going to bed at night feeling satisfied that we have done our best and achieved what we could during each day helps us to feel positive and happier about ourselves.
Visualising and having a sense of what we hope to achieve the following day can support a good nights sleep and reinforce the desire and determination to maintain that commitment when we wake up.
