We all have excuses at times for why things aren't going the way we want.
When we turn our excuses into stories we're not moving forward and we actually stop playing in the game of life.
The only way to get where you want to go is know precisely where you are, precisely where you want to go and how you're going to get here.
Be honest with yourself in the process.
Many times people think where they are starting out looks bleak and overly challenging.
What if you couldn't blame the boss, the leads, your job or even the industry you're in for your results? Then what? What if it was the perfect place to start? Imagine if you vanquished your fear of failing or looking stupid in the process.
Sometimes you have to look foolish in the name of progress.
Making progress and mastering something new is a process.
You don't wake up suddenly an expert in anything.
Every step takes practice.
Looking foolish can actually be one of the fun parts to your success.
Don't take yourself to seriously.
There's no embarrassment in struggle.
The embarrassment comes if you quit or don't try your hardest.
It's easier to find satisfaction if you know you truly gave your best.
The number one cause of mediocrity today is not setting lofty goals and missing them, it's setting goals that aren't lofty enough and actually hitting them.
Your self satisfaction is reduced when your goals are set to low.
Life seems boring even when you are accomplishing things.
Figuring out your "Why" in all areas of your life is crucial.
Expanding your "Why" in your mind, fuels your burning desire.
Your burning desire will allow your subconscious to create a way for you to cross the finish line and complete your goals.
Virtually everyone I know that is super successful has an accountability partner, mentor or is using online tools to get started each day fast and finish strong.
Create your vision and your subconscious will get to work for you.
It's like planting a garden.
You have to tend to the dream seeds that you plant.
Nurture them with time and attention.
Pluck the weeds of disbelief.
Repeat as often as needed.
You'll be amazed at yourself.
Before you know it you will have abundance, joy and feeling of success that will inspiring others.
