Everywhere you look people are struggling.
Struggling to earn a living, or maintain what they have.
Even to find happiness in the everyday moments in life.
Yet, it is this struggle that defines us.
We are meant to go through difficulties in order for us to learn and grow.
It's up to us to find the wisdom in it and be better because of it.
If you're finding yourself in a situation you don't particularly like, ask yourself, what am I doing about it? Have you put yourself into a position of winning? Are you attracting opportunities to you by projecting the very things you want? Good things in life don't happen by accident.
There are causes and effects to every beneficial thing that happens.
One could argue that if someone wins the lottery, that they were simply lucky.
However, if they never bought that ticket, they wouldn't have put themselves in the position of receiving luck.
Taking care of those things that you can do to improve yourself, will eventually open doors of fortune for you.
There is the old saying "if you continue to do the same things," yadda-yadda-yadda...
you know the one.
Even the mightiest stones are reduced to sand by a steady stream of water.
Nothing lasts forever.
We are meant to change, grow, and evolve.
It's our destiny.
You can't expect to simply coast through life without expecting a few hiccups along the way.
And occasionally, some big event will come to rock your world.
Don't get caught off guard.
Don't panic and freak out like the world is ending.
Remember this was supposed to happen, and you're supposed to be the solution.
No one is immune to life's misfortune.
In the game of life, to the victor go the spoils.
No one remembers who came in second place.
No one remembers the fall as much as the recovery, unless of course, you never get up.
So get up and stop feeling sorry for yourself.
Don't look for handouts, look for a help up.
Don't look for a shoulder to cry on, look for a back to lean on.
We all know life isn't fair.
It was never meant to be.
That is one of life's cruel lessons.
However, it doesn't have to take advantage of you.
You can be anything you want, if you try.
You can have anything you want, if you're willing to work for it.
In contrast, by doing nothing, or expecting others to give it to you will ensure your life is empty and hollow, leaving you unfulfilled and unhappy.
Sometimes with all this self-help mumbo jumbo, expensive weekend retreats, life coaches and books, courses, videos, or what have you, can make your head spin.
At the end of the day, they are all saying the same thing.
Believe in yourself, and rely on yourself to make whatever you desire come to life.
The world isn't rocket science.
However, in this ever-changing world, which isn't always changing for the better, it's more important than ever to have faith...
