Five Words That Will Change Your Life

64
What if there was a way or a simple formula to create these changes that only required a little practice? Would you do it? Aha, that's the million dollar question.
Some people are willing to slave for days, months and even years tirelessly trying to attain their goals but when given a simple, easy and proven formula will resist or doubt the validity of it.
Why do you think that is? It takes guts to be truly successful! That's why there are so many who are not.
That's why there are so many sitting on the sidelines watching and ridiculing those who succeed.
Here is an interesting fact of life that is often overlooked.
Skepticism, ridicule, excuses and doubt are traits of the "gutless".
They are afraid of failing and find it easier and more comfortable to not try.
It is safe to work on a change that is undefined and goes on for months with no visible means of ending.
Why? If there is no ending then there is no disappointment.
There is no possibility of not being successful.
It is the easy way out.
Have I got your attention yet? Have you become inspirationally dis-satisfied enough to attain your goals of health, wealth or happiness? If you have then here is that proven, easy formula that I spoke of .
This is the five word formula that can change your life in any area you desire.
"To be _________ , act ___________ .
" (Fill in the blanks with whatever you would like to change or be in your life) Here are some examples: To be happy act happy To be sad act sad To be healthy act healthy To be sick act sick To be wealthy act wealthy To be poor act poor Here is an exercise to prove my point: If you are serious about creating effective change in your life, I'd like you to "really" get up and do this exercise! Exercise: 1.
Stand up in front of a mirror and look at yourself.
2.
Put your chest out, shoulders back and head up high.
3.
Give yourself a big smile and keep it there.
4.
Now, while keeping this pose, try to be sad or depressed.
You cannot! You are acting like you are very happy and that is how you feel.
You may have even laughed while in this position.
If you acted the opposite however you would feel the opposite as well but please do not do that as I want you to feel good about what you are learning rather than the alternative.
Here is why it works for the moment The subconscious mind does not understand the difference between an imagined memory or an actual memory.
It gives them the same value.
This is why after you watch a scary movie you are hyper or jumpy for a while.
This is why after a really funny movie you are laughing and so happy for a while.
This is why after a romantic movie you are ...
well you get what I mean...
But in each of these cases, it does fade away.
Here is how to make it permanent The way you are right now is a result of the habits you have created.
You have created a habit of maybe being a hard worker, of procrastinating, of constantly giving praise or complaining.
Your health, lifestyle and daily routines are the result of habits you have created otherwise known as "programming".
Approximately 95 % of your life, you are running programs developed from your past.
In order to change them you must create new ones.
You cannot eliminate them; you must replace them with a better habit.
Your subconscious is similar to a 4 year old child.
Let's imagine a 4 year old were playing with a dangerous toy that you wanted to take away from them.
If you just took it away they would cry and carry on until you finally had to give it back to them to quiet them down and possibly even give them a second one to appease them.
This is similar to someone trying to quit smoking unsuccessfully and when they start again the smoke even more.
If however you replaced the toy with a different toy that were better, the child would give up the old toy happily and enjoy the new one.
This is how our minds work as well.
The science of the mind in a nutshell.
Everything that is psychological is also biological at the same time.
All of your urges, ideas, thoughts, moods, feelings and desires are biological in nature.
Everything that you do requires that you have a body.
Try to hold a book without one; I'm sure it would be a difficult task.
It seems that people try to separate biological and psychological functions however one without the other would be impossible.
Continual repetition of messages as mentioned earlier makes it easy for specific actions or thoughts to be repeated as they begin to create new neural-pathways.
Once these new pathways are formed they cannot be changed.
Even when they are no longer in use they still remain.
This is the essence of an addiction.
There is a battle between the conscious mind and the unconscious "force of habit".
New habits can be created which will in turn create new neural pathways that will replace the old habits.
It is important that the new habits are continued with so that you do not fall back on the old habit (falling off the wagon) such as in the case of alcoholism or drug abuse.
As new pathways are created they are similar to creating paths through a grassy field.
By walking back and forth over the same route repetitiously you are wearing down the grass all the way to the soil.
The path is worn deeper and more pronounced as it is repeatedly used.
Now if a new path is used more than the old one to the point where it also wears down the grass into the soil even deeper, then the new one will become easier to use than the old one.
The old one will fade into the background and will probably begin to grow grass once again.
It takes approximately three to four weeks to form this new habit.
Everyone's brain is uniquely different and some may develop habits more quickly than others.
Rest assured though that it is a biological function and it will happen if repeated each day.
Now you have seen this 5 word formula of success, how it works and even the proof.
The only thing left to improve your life is to take the plunge and, do it! I wish you luck in attaining positive change in your life.
Now, put your head up, shoulders back, chest out, smile and make those changes!
